In fact, Vitamin A is one of the better antioxidants, and there are a number of foods from which you can derive it, including carrots, oranges, peaches and green leafy vegetables. Additionally, it is helpful in fighting other infections besides acne, so be sure to consume decent amounts of it.

Vitamins from the B-group is another source of antioxidants. Additionally, these vitamins helps the nervous system to calm down, thus fighting stress – a major cause of acne.

Vitamin C is, besides being a strong antioxidant, is also a natural stimulating agent. As such, it can help your immune system to fight back against many different infections, including colds and flu. Consuming good amounts of Vitamin C will help your system to fight the acne infection.

These basic vitamins are crucial in your treatment of acne. Focus on these, and be sure to consume all of them regularly in order to be able to fight the infection, as well as to live a healthier life in general.
